These are some of the works of a young artist named Pinar Yolacan. Born in Turkey, she lives and works in New York.
Why am I talking about her?
Because if you look closely at what these women are wearing, you’ll realize that it’s meat.
I’d be very interested to hear what you think about these portraits.

They look Offal! Just kidding. I do wish they would smile and look a bit more cheerful. Cool idea and a lot more creative than the standard “bacon wear” I have seen recently.
Not too many people out there love meat more than I do, but it’s apparent that these women do. Surprisingly, the meat doesn’t make them look any better either. But I beg to differ on your observation Cole, I don’t see any meat – just guts! I’m interested in finding out the part 2 portion of this segment.
Hola, im kali. im 57 years old and i find the meat garmets very interesting. Acouple years ago lady gaga wore this stunning meat dress and i just fell inlove. seeing all these new creations just blows my mind. the things we can do with meat these days(;
Fascinating! I wonder what her message is? I give props to those women for sitting in meat and guts long enough to take a decent portrait.
